With over 39 theatres Broadway is a cultural phenomenon and is known as one of the most famous boulevards in the world.From video products, which are created exclusively in cooperation with renowned publications such as The New York Times and The New Yorker, to interactive facilities for the online acquisition of tickets, the Broadway.tv website manages to seamlessly combine an interactive nature of services.
Context
The project is a follow up to the ".tv" channels developed by Zitec defined by their high level of interactivity. Such programs as OZtralia.tv, an online channel used for the promotion of Australian tourism, BMI.tv, an instrument for assistance in the calculation and monitoring of the body weight index, BodyArchitect.tv, an interactive channel dedicated to body shape techniques, National.tv, the online program network, Election.tv, a website dedicated to the United States political scene, and Alegeri.tv, a Zitec-owned project dedicated to the Romanian public.Solutions
The unique element that differentiates this project from other niche sites is the design, which is conceived and created according to specific standards. Our design fully satisfies the requirements of the client and the expectations of the targeted audience.The Zitec team chose a refined graphical concept which reflects the Broadway spirit. The interface is well coordinated through the pleasant color scheme which compliments the chromatic tones of the logo. There is also flexibility of the pagination and the fonts chosen for the text. All these elements are well integrated in the basic graphic concept of the site. In order to give a high degree of utility, a simple informational architecture was chosen that allows the user to easily and rapidly identify the areas of interest on the site and the options available.
This interface is easy to use due to the intuitive and easy to access system of navigation which is consistent even in the cases of open source modules, which are integrated in the project.

For example, Zitec created the Broadway Gram service of sending personalized telegrams to actors, and the service for user generated content which allows users to upload videos and other types of media content.
The video content can be accessed in real time and is distributed to the online community through RSS (Really Simple Syndication) by using any specialized application. The solution developed by the Zitec team caters to the public's need to have a website which is not only pleasant from an esthetic point of view, but also useful through the implementation of third parties services such as Ticket Network and Travelocity.
By using these solutions any user can purchase online tickets to some of the most popular theater shows, access a data base with over 30.000 hotels from around the world, or chose full touristic packages, with everything done online and in real time.
