Whether there are multiple dial-up connections, or dialup and local area connections, Smart Mail Sender solves the problem of switching among them.
Using multiple connections, we are forced to use different SMTP servers in order to send email messages. We could use the email account server, if we would benefit from SMTP authentication or Open Relay on that server (but the transfer rate would be lower). At every connection change the user is forced to reconfigure the SMTP server in the email client.
Smart Mail Sender automatically redirects outgoing email messages to the SMTP server of the active connection's ISP.
The "SMTP Servers" tab allows you to define the name of every ISP you use, and its SMTP server address.
Smart Mail Sender detects Dial-up connections (and obviously the LAN connection) and allows you in "General" tab to associate the right internet service provider to every connection.
The software runs on the following platforms: Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
